SEEKNEW was born in 2022, but its roots stretch back generations through my family’s deep connection to tea. I grew up immersed in the quiet rituals and profound stories of Chinese tea culture—its patience, its artistry, its way of bringing people together.

After university, I set sail on a different kind of journey: working aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship sailing the Pacific. I witnessed the raw, heavenly beauty of Alaska; wandered through Vancouver, where ocean meets mountains and cultures blend effortlessly; felt the warm “aloha” spirit in Hawaii; and swam in the unreal blues of French Polynesia. I marveled at the Sydney Opera House, a symbol of human creativity, and roamed the breathtaking, otherworldly landscapes of New Zealand—a place that truly feels like nature’s masterpiece.

But the most valuable treasures were the people I met. Travelers from across the globe shared stories with me, and when they learned I was Chinese, our conversations often turned to tea. Their curiosity was electric—they were fascinated by the traditions, flavors, and peace that tea offered.

When I returned home, I stepped into a completely different world: construction. As a project manager, I spent my days between blueprints and building sites. It was meaningful work, but my heart kept drifting back to those conversations on the deck, under the stars, about tea. I realized that what people truly longed for wasn’t just a beverage—it was a moment of calm, a connection to something authentic, a story in a cup.

That was the turning point.

I left the construction site to build something closer to my soul: a bridge between China’s ancient tea traditions and the modern world. SEEKNEW is my promise to share not just exceptional tea, but the culture, craftsmanship, and human connection it represents.

Every tea we offer is chosen with care, from high-elevation gardens where leaves are still handpicked and traditions honored. It’s an invitation to pause, to savor, and to feel a sense of discovery—whether you’re in New York, Tokyo, or Paris.
