The Roots of SEEKNEW

I founded SEEKNEW in 2022, but its roots reach far deeper—woven through generations of my family’s devotion to premium tea. From childhood, I was surrounded by the quiet rituals and profound stories of Chinese tea culture. Tea taught me patience, artistry, and the beauty of human connection.

A Journey Across the Seas

After university, I began a different kind of adventure aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship sailing the Pacific. The voyage opened my eyes to the world’s wonders—the raw majesty of Alaska, the harmony of ocean and mountains in Vancouver, and the warm “aloha” spirit of Hawaii. I swam in the surreal blues of French Polynesia, admired the Sydney Opera House, and wandered through New Zealand’s breathtaking, untouched landscapes.

Yet the greatest treasures were not the destinations—they were the people. Travelers from every corner of the world shared their stories with me. When they learned I was Chinese, conversations often drifted toward tea. Their curiosity was alive; they were fascinated by its traditions, flavors, and serenity.

From Construction to Creation

When I returned home, I entered an entirely different world—construction. As a project manager, I spent my days among blueprints and building sites. The work was fulfilling, but my mind often wandered back to those late-night talks beneath the stars about tea. I realized people weren’t simply longing for a beverage; they were seeking a moment of calm, a connection to authenticity, and a story in every cup.

That realization became my turning point. I left the construction world to build something closer to my heart: a bridge between China’s ancient tea traditions and the modern world. SEEKNEW is my promise to share not only exceptional tea but also the art, culture, and human connection behind it.

Every tea we offer is handpicked from high-elevation gardens, where growers still honor age-old methods. Each leaf carries a story of patience, care, and reverence for nature.
